Dai Manchester – Mr Caravan - retires

By Bryan Weaver | 01/10/2017

On Friday night Dai ‘Manchester’ Evans was presented with a memento to mark his retirement from over a decade of supporting the club through his oversight of the Llandovery Caravan and Camping Park.

In that time the Park has grown to a venture which far outstrips its original size and scope and Dai has given many hours and days of his time to underpinning that growth. For many of those years Dai’s late wife Jean would also be found alongside him in the Office caravan, with particular responsibility for brews.

The above picture of the presentation being made by Idris Morton is well worth hanging on to, because our intrepid photographer almost trapped Dai into a smile, and there are no known images which do this!

Thanks for all your efforts Dai.
