It is all part of a Church Bank fund raising initiative for the Alzheimer’s Society who will benefit from the contribution of players, officials and spectators.
In North and West Wales there are over 18,000 people with dementia, and it is predicted that this figure will rise to just under 23,000 by 2021.
The money raised on Friday night will help provide day care and home care for people with dementia, as well as support and befriending services to help partners and families cope with the demands of caring.
