1) DIARY
The end of season Black Tie Gala Dinner is set for Friday May 13, 7 for 7 30 pm. Euros and Emma Evans, Gareth and Clare Potter, Tom and Katie Hancock will be guests of the 25 Club.
They will be joined by Dino Dallavalle and Welsh international centre Hannah Jones.
There will be a question and answer session with the 3 coaches on the night as well as a prize quiz.
Members should confirm their attendance with or without partner/guest as soon as possible. Please note that members may invite extra guests/friends but at a cost of £50 per head to include all food and beverage on the night – excellent value for money.
Gina has yet to hear from some members and they are asked to communicate their intentions as soon as possible.
Please note that if you do let us know your intentions by Monday May 9, we cannot entertain you on the night.
The 25 Club are delighted that the Llandovery RFC committee has taken a table of 8 for the evening in support of the club.
Members who have any allergy to certain foods are asked to let Gina know asap to allow for catering arrangements
2) TWO WINNERS OF THE FIRST/LAST TRY COMPETITION
The eleventh and last round of the 2021-2022 competition – Llandovery v Bridgend – saw two winners.
The first try, scored by Craig Thomas (2) won Lou Wilson £50. The last try scorer –Will Thomas (22) got Mark Vince £50.
Lou Wilson and partner John Herring won £250 overall during the season and have generously put all their winnings into a Players Fund.
3) INDIGO PREMIERSHIP RESULTS April 30
Cardiff’s win over Merthyr clinched them the 2021-2022 Indigo Premiership title
