It is with the deepest regret that we have to report the passing of Doug Davies, a former Club President and a very loyal and supportive member of the 25 Club.
His easy manner, warm smile and twinkle in the eye will be missed by his many friends at Church Bank.
1) TWO WINNERS OF THE FIRST/LAST TRY COMPETITION
The fifth round of the 2021-2022 competition – Llandovery v Aberavon – saw two winners. The first Llandovery try from Ashley Evans (14) earned Geraint Morgan £50. The last try was scored by Rhodri Jones, earning Wyn Morgan £50
The sixth round is at the Llandovery v RGC league game on Dec 11 2021
2) DIARY
There were to be two pre-match hospitality days in 2022 on the occasion of the Llandovery v Newport (29/01/2022) and Llandovery v Pontypridd (12/03/2022) games.
There will now be an extra one on the occasion of the Indigo Premiership quarter final at home to either RGC or Pontypridd. The date of that game has yet to be fixed
Full details will follow in due course as will the date of the end of season Gala Dinner.
