*** We can now confirm that the end of season Black Tie dinner for members and a guest will be at the clubhouse on Friday 17 May – 7 for 7 30 pm.
The all inclusive dinner will be accompanied by a rugby/sport/general knowledge Prize Quiz and a Question and Answer Forum with the club coaches.
Members are encouraged to invite or bring extra guests to enjoy the all inclusive evening at a cost of £60 per head.
Please inform Gina of your attendance with/without a guest and any extra paying guests asap.
With three certain and four possible games left of the season the next few weeks promise to be some of the most hectic in recent memory.
The first/last try competition – part of the 25 Club benefits – will operate on all home games
Membership of the club will cover entry into all home Premiership games
The Drovers have two remaining games to finish off the regular season – home to Swansea on Saturday afternoon April 20 and home to Bridgend on Thursday evening April 25.
If they win both and also get one or two bonus points, they will end up in first place and go into the Premiership semi final play off against fourth placed Cardiff at Church Bank on Saturday May 4.
If they fail to get a bonus point, then they will finish second to Newport and face third placed Ebbw Vale at Church Bank on May 4.
A victory over either Cardiff or Ebbw Vale will take them into the final, the venue to be decided on the outcome of the semi finals.
The best scenario for Llandovery would be to finish top of the regular table, beat Cardiff in the semi final and so have home advantage in the final on May 11 against either Newport or Ebbw Vale.
In the case of the Drovers playing four games at home, the first/last try competition will be in force throughout.
