1) FIRST/LAST TRY COMPETITION
In the fifth of the first/last try competitions of the season (Llandovery v Pontypool), the winners were Geri Davies (9) and Howard Potter (17).
Lee Rees scored the first try to the £50 benefit of Geri and replacement Taylor Davies crossed for the last Llandovery try to earn Howard the other £50.
The sixth round of the competition will be on November 25 on the occasion of the Llandovery v Newport game.
2) DISCOUNT
On production of their membership card, 25 Club members can take advantage of a 10% discount when eating in at The West End Café.
Ozzy’s have also generously offered a 10% discount on purchases.
3) DRAGONBET
Bookmakers Dragonbet (dragonbet.co.uk) offered odds on the Llandovery v Pontypool game. They gave Pooler a 12 point start against the Drovers.
Llandovery won by a margin of 16 (37-21)) so a number of 25 Club members who backed the team to win by over 12 points were in the money.
4) SIX NATIONS
Members can now apply for their pair of complimentary tickets for any one of Wales’s home games in the 2024 Six Nations.
Wales v Scotland Feb 3; Wales v France March 12; Wales v Italy March 16.
