Person with highest score out of 10 wins £200
***Ireland’s shock defeat to England means that that they are no longer certainties to win the Six Nations. If they lose to Scotland in the final game and England beat France, England might sneak the title.
From 53 entries, the 12 people who opted for Ireland to win the title – Dylan Dobbs, Dai Thomas, Rhys Davies, Paul Adams, Nigel Penn, Janet Thomas, Margaret Davies, Daniel Davies, Pem Williams, Jeff Rees, Stuart Doel and Meirion Lewis (see spreadsheet) are stll favourites to claim the three point for naming the Six Nations winners.
Howard Newell, Roy Davies and Gina Deering will claim the three points if England head the final table.
***Wales’s fourth defeat does not augur well for their finishing position. They will finish fifth or sixth, depending on how they get on against Italy in Cardiff on Saturday.
***Rio Dyer who scored against France and AOB (any other player) are equal top try scorers (2) with a game to go.
If Dyer and AOB finish level on tries, then each will have one point
After Round 4, there were just two red cards in 12 matches. The correct red card forecast is worth two points. There are a large number of entries opting for 2 or 3 tries.
***Wyn Jones took no part in the England v Wales game and if that continues, all those who put his appearances down as zero will earn one point
Re the tie breaker on the total number of match points scored by Wales over their five matches, Wales scoring 71 points after just four games suggests that the total after five games should now be in the 90-100 region.
