LLANDOVERY PREPARATION PLANS DISRUPTED

The pre-season plans of Llandovery coach Euros Evans were dealt a big blow in the week when the fixture against Cinderford had to be called off at the last moment writes Huw S Thomas.

On Saturday, the team bus travelling to Forest of Dean club Cinderford broke down midway and a replacement bus could not be found in time for the party to continue its journey.

Thankfully the game against Bridgend will go on but the date has been changed from Saturday August 19 to Thursday August 17 at the Brewery Field.

The game against fellow Premiership club Bridgend had been scheduled for Church Bank on August 19 but was called off after the Ravens had told Llandovery that they could not field a team.

However negotiations between the two clubs have resulted in the fixture being re-instated but with a different date and venue.
