25 Club for 2022-2023
Llandovery RFC will be continuing its 25 Club membership to coincide with the start of the new Premiership season.
Membership is now open and those who join before the Premiership season proper starts will have additional free entry to any friendlies including the scheduled fixture against Pontypool on August 13, 2022.
Those who have joined by or on August 13 will also be invited – with a guest – to a free buffet and drinks lunch before the Pontypool match.
If members wish to bring extra guests, they are welcome to do so. There will be a charge of £30 per head but this is refundable if the guest joins the 25 Club for 2022-2023.
As in previous years, 25 people – each paying £1,000 per annum – will be members of an exclusive “25 Club” for the season.
A specially struck Club membership card is to be issued to the 25 members.
A cheque for £1,000 payable to Llandovery RFC payment will only be cashed once 25 members have signed up to the “25 Club”.
Membership will be on “a first come, first served” basis so that once 25 cheques have been deposited with the club, access to membership will be closed.
A number of people were disappointed last season when putting in a late application, only to find membership closed..
Benefits of membership
1) On production of the membership card, free entry for member + 1 guest to every home league and Cup game at Church Bank, 2022 -2023
NB Those who join before the Premiership proper starts will have additional free entry + 1 guest to any pre-season friendlies.
2) Guaranteed two complimentary (free) tickets for one of Wales’s Autumn series or Six Nations matches (according to availability and allocation).
3) Use of “25 Room” for members + 1 guest before the Premiership home games against both Carmarthen Quins and Llanelli.
All inclusive – buffet and wine/beer – served between 1 00 pm and 2 25 pm before both games.
4) Automatic entry into a members only prize competition at every home league game.
Two prizes of £50 per game for a) first Llandovery try scorer b) last Llandovery try scorer.
Members will be allocated a club number between 1 and 25 corresponding to a Llandovery match day shirt, plus a penalty try category (24) and no try category (25).
The no try category will come into force if no try has been scored or if there is just one Llandovery try in the whole game.
Prize awarded immediately post match if member is in attendance at Church Bank. Otherwise payment will be made in the week following the game.
Member numbers from 1 to 25 will be allocated once 25 members have been finalised and drawn out of a hat at a social meeting before the start of the Premiership season.
A member will keep the same number throughout that entire season.
5) Members + 1 guest will be invited to a 25 Club dinner at the end of the season. It will include a 3 course meal + coffee plus all wines and beers.
(Extra tickets for friends/customers @£60 per head can be purchased by a member for the 3 course meal + coffee plus all wines and beers).
