Those 25 CLUB members who did not pick up their membership cards and fixture list at the club on Saturday September 9 can do so at the club office at any time.

  • HOSPITALITY

The first 25 Club hospitality lunch will now be on Saturday October 21 on the occasion of the home game against RGC. 1 pm to 2.25 pm.

The home fixture against Carmarthen Quins in December is confirmed a hospitality day and there will be another post Christmas, date to be decided upon.

That third hospitality day is likely to be on March 2 2024 when the visitors will be Bridgend RFC. This date is to be confirmed.

  • FIRST/LAST TRY COMPETITION

In the first of the first/last try competition of the season, the winners were Mark Vince (13) and Jonathan Davies (5).

Centre Macs Page scored the first try to the £50 benefit of Mark Vince and Joe Powell grabbed the last Llandovery try to earn Jonathan Davies the other £50.

Mark was not able to be with us but Jonathan received his prize directly from the hands of “his” player Joe Powell (5) after the game.

The second round of the competition will be on Thursday Sept 28 on the occasion of the Llandovery v Cardiff televised game.

 

  • DISCOUNT

On production of their membership card, 25 Club members can take advantage of a 10% discount when eating in at The West End Café. Many thanks to café owner Mark Vince.

 

  • DRAGONBET

Bookmakers Dragonbet (dragonbet.co.uk) offered odds on the Llandovery v Merthyr Last Saturday they gave Merthyr an 8 point start against the Drovers.

Llandovery won by a margin of 26 (38-12) so a number of 25 Club members who backed Llandovery to win by over 8 points were in the money on Saturday night.
